Staff

Laura lives in Surrey with her cat Charlie. She realised she was autistic in her early 20s and was formally diagnosed in 2007. She has a degree in Animal Behaviour and is now studying for a postgraduate certificate in Autism. Outside of AutAngel she works at a cat shelter and enjoys cross stitching, birdwatching and geocaching.

Carrie joined the AutAngel staff team in 2020, having participated in a number of our groups & courses over the previous 2 years. Before working for AutAngel, she spent a number of years as a benefits caseworker supporting disabled people with applications & tribunals. Outside her work, she lives a quiet life with a companion cat in south Oxon.

Sharon joined Autangel in early 2021. After about a year of helping facilitate the women's group she became a staff member in 2025. Based in Tilehurst with her chihuahuas, Sharon loves to crochet in her spare time—and sells her colourful creations on Etsy!

Sarah is our Publicity & Marketing Lead. She began to explore her autistic identity in 2020 through her relationship with her partner, therapy, and peer connections. She joined AutAngel as a member in 2023. Originally from Pittsburgh, Sarah came to Reading by way of Germany. Immigrating twice taught her how to build local community as an outsider.
